Meet Odin!

Odin has been with one of our volunteers for a few months now and is a big part of why they decided to jump into starting a new charity!
Odin's story is a long and expensive one. He was so sick when he came in and it took a long time for him to start responding to medication, even longer for him to recover! The vets were almost at the point of recommended humane euthanasia but Odin was eating, drinking, toileting and purring so we just couldn't give up on him!
& we are so glad that we didn't because he DID recover and he is the sweetest cat! He is totally normal apart from limited vision due to one of his eyes being covered by scar tissue. He's still in care and waiting very patiently for a furrever home.
This came at a HUGE cost though. Odin's vet bills clocked in at around $2000!
We wouldn't change a thing for Odin but this is a huge bill and a big burden for the amazing cat rescue that rescued him. So we are here to try to help cats exactly like Odin, that deserve a chance at life and to help the rescues give these cats that chance!
