This sweet boy was in care with one of our team for months before the unthinkable happened... One of the hardest parts of rescue is not knowing where our kitties have come from and what health issues might be lingering just under the surface. This heart breaking case is the main inspiration for the volunteer that cared for him & his photo was our starting canvas for our logo. Sometimes there is nothing we or the vets can do to save a kitty - but we want to make sure that rescues can do everything they can and aren't held back by financial worries. The Faulty Cat Fund was started in loving memory of Shawn & all the other faulty cats that crossed the rainbow bridge despite our best efforts.
