Meet Tyrion!

This little dude was a huge learning experience for our volunteer, the rescue and the vets! Hypothyroidism is very common in older cats but it is incredibly rare for a kitten to be born with it. Tyrion's congenital hypothyroidism was stunting his growth and causing dwarfism!
He is well on the road to recovery now but it has been a long and expensive process, which will continue as he needs daily medication, regular vet check ups + blood tests and has to stay in care as he isn't able to be desexed for awhile so he keeps all his boy hormones to help him grow!
Tyrion is the snuggliest kitten and part of the inspiration to start The Faulty Cat Fund!
